Domestic kittens can be fully socialized and placed in new homes at 10 weeks. At 5 months, they usually weigh about 5 lbs. Most cat breeds mature at 12-15 months and average 6-12 lbs, unless overfed. Hybrid kittens take between 13 to 16 weeks to fully socialize. At 5 months, Mokave kittens usually weigh 6-8 lbs. Most Mokave cats mature at 30-36 months and average 12-22 lbs. of solid muscle; some have weighed between 24 to 28 lbs.!
