"We are home safe and sound! She is very pretty, just the color I like, too.
She was so sweet and rode in my lap and purred and kneaded and headbutted
like she knew me. I was surprised she wasn't a bit nervous [after the flight]..."

Mokave cats and kittens can be shipped most anywhere in the US and Puerto Rico as well as a few cities in Canada (Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver). I use Delta, Northwest, or Continental as they love my cats and take very good care of them. The animals travel in the same temperature and pressure-controlled environment as the human passengers.

Shipping a Mokave cat or kitten is easy for you and safe for your kitten. When kitty is ready to go, I call various shippers to determine the best flights for your city based upon your preferences and the kitten's welfare. I then make the reservation, email you the flight info, buy and prep the shipping crate, bathe your kitty, take kitty to the vet for its health certificate and bloodwork, prepare all the paperwork, drive to the airport, check kitty in, prepay the flight, and call you to say that your kitty is on its way. You simply show up at the designated place and time with your ID.

In a plastic bag at the bottom of your kitten's shipping crate you will find its Pet Records, which normally includes a Mokave Pet Contract; registration paper; three-generation pedigree; vet-certified health certificate; and record of altering, vaccination dates, Feline Leukemia test, FIV test, and fecal test.

Shipping Fees

PLEASE NOTE:   Mokave Cats is not responsible for delivery of your kitten. As a courtesy, I provide shipping services (at my cost) when prepaid by you. You are always welcome to come pick up your kitty in person.

Airlines have raised their pet cargo rates several times since January 1st, 2008. Due to the increased cost of fuel, crates, health certificates and bloodwork, shipping fees are now $300 - $350, depending upon the airline and the weight of the cat.

Please call me at 904-292-9195 if you have any questions.

"I picked Sheba up tonight from the airport... she wasn't meowing to get out of the cage at all. On the way home I had her in my lap and she was just licking me and head-butting me and purring. I instantly fell in love with her!"
