How Big Will They Get?
On average, an adult Mokave female will weigh 12 to 18 pounds. An adult Mokave male will weigh 14 to 28 pounds. Almost all Mokave cats grow up to be larger than domestic cats, which usually weigh 6 to 12 pounds as adults. Domestic cats that weigh 20 lbs. or more are usually very obese cats in need of a serious diet. When I refer to a 20 pound (or more) Mokave cat, it's weight is solid muscle - not fat.
PLEASE NOTE: I CANNOT GUARANTEE SIZE!Mokave Cats are a blend of wild and domestic and therefore their features are not predictable from litter to litter. Many of my biggest cats looked small or normal size when they were kittens. Below are some examples of young adult Mokave Cats that turned out to be big.
