Mokave Cat

To me, all my Mokaves are special. I've seen them do some pretty amazing things such as run agility courses without training, open latched doors, and jump six feet straight up in the air from ground level.

The stories and many of the photos shown below were sent to me from the Pet Parents of my Mokaves. You really need to live with one of these unusual felines to truly understand just how smart, loving, and talented they are.

Queen Kyra

Kyra is one of my early foundation cats. She looked just like a little bobcat when she was a baby!

"Hi Nora. Just had to tell you about Miss Kyra. I could not believe my eyes. I took her in my front carrypack to the
store but realized she was too heavy to carry home so I put her in a grocery cart. I have never seen anything like it...
any other cat would have been running down the street... not my beautiful Kyra. She had her leg hanging over the edge
of the cart with cars and motorcycles wizzing right by us and she was calmly looking around like she owned the world!"

"One day I was talking to my mother in her bedroom and I heard my domestic male cat, Nanja, meowing to come in.
There was a noise at the screen door and I went to see what was going on. Kyra had jumped up on her cat tree,
reached over to the screen door handle, pushed the button with her paw to release the latch, and then jumped
down and used her paws to push the door open so Nanja could come in since he doesn't know how to open the
door himself. Kyra stayed in the house. She should be on TV!"

Queen Narobi

Narobi was the first of my black spotted cats. She produced some lovely kittens. Queen Narobi was retired and placed in a loving home with another of my Mokave cats.
